DANCES

Dances were an important monthly social event with different Slovenian bands entairtaining the members and friends late into the night.

A very popular was The Masquerade Carnival just before the Lent of every year. There was a competition of carnival masks and the best masks and costumes were awarded with prizes. Almost every year there was also a comical Pust Funeral, with the widow crying and telling how good and bad her husband Pust was, a huge procession and a Priest with prayers. All was presented in a very funny way.
