MULTICULTURAL PARTICIPATION OF JADRAN
The students of the supplementary Slovenian school at Jadran appeared with their teacher, Anica Zorzut, in the Moomba Parade in 1980 and in 1983. Moomba is the showcasing of cultural and sporting events of the different countries living in Melbourne,Victoria, staged every year on Victoria Labour Day public holiday in March.
The multicultural participation was on Moomba only, but the Choir extended its participation and concerts to other nationalities and Australian community as well.
