Nevenka Golc Clarke, a Honorary Consul of Republic Slovenia for Queensland, was invited to offer information about Slovenia, traditional food and many speeches. She concluded with the commendation:

” . . . I commend on the World Day of Prayer organisation to bring to attention the trauma issue in Slovenia and to pray for, and offer support, to women in need and all disadvantaged. We hope that through the Jesus’s story of the great banquet, we can reflect in ourselves. Let us today support ‘the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind’. They can not repay us. But as Jesus said ‘you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous’.”
