Frances Johnson Urbas presented Slovenia at the Manningham Uniting Church, Doncaster and concluded with the following words:
” . . . It was my honour and privilege to participate in this year’s World Prayer Day, at the Manningham Uniting Church in Doncaster, which was co-ordinated by various Christian church groups in the Manningham region.
I was asked by the organising committee, to read the voice of the Slovenian woman ‘Mojca’, and was proud to wear the Slovenian national costume for the occasion. Many parishioners offered compliments on the costume and asked many questions about Slovenia and my heritage. It was a wonderful opportunity to bring Slovenia to the world stage, and one that I will not forget.
