The beginning was very hard and many of the first meetings were held in garages and in some private homes. At times, for larger gatherings, they hired some available halls. At the Geelong club, the first Slovenian choir in Australia became active.

In 1975 a club hall was bult by voluntary members. In 1984 the bocce bowling alleys were added.

  • Since its extension, the hall has hosted performances by various artists from Slovenia.
  • A six lane under-cover bocce alley was built adjoining the extended hall.
  • There is a hunters hut, library and a multi-purpose billiard room in the sports annex.
  • The association has staged many short comedies and appeared at other associations as well as the Slovenian religious centre in Melbourne.
  • The association has exhibited many handcrafts and flower arrangements.
